Ahhh..the bliss of finding a new blog - and one that is Swedish to boot! Found Annesse's blog via Confetti and am quite happy about it! Look at the room she and her husband decorated for their daughter!

At so-deco, a daughter requested a loft bed for her room. Her mom explained her thoughts here, "At first, I found imposing. We must rethink everything, instead of the dresser, toys ...Enjoy the space under the bed to make it a cozy little corner. Not to mention my madness for sweet vintage!!"

It's a long (four-day) weekend for me here with plans and goals of rearranging my office nook, tidying up a walk in closet, hosting a game night as a farewell for a friend moving away for six months, meeting a friend for coffee, catching up on blogs at a cute new coffeebar in town, and going for some long walks.

Alanna posted the above photo on her blog, and I liked Katherine Yaphe's jeans and blue (teal?) shoes so much I had to visit her website to learn more about her. Was smitten with their site the moment I saw the kitchen with that striped rug.

These bright yellow rooms via rusta upp have made me happy today! Must find some more yellow to sunny up the apartment.
Then she's put together gifts for new babies - socks displayed as cupcakes. So cute!

The Good Fairy introduced readers to a new blog, Sister Anne, whose home is shown here. She has a mix of all-white rooms and then rooms with a lot of yellow and florals. I'm smitten.

One of my favorite bloggers has begun a new blog!!
Yeah - I'm a bit excited. Sally Shim of shimandsons has begun a new, daily blog called Sally J Shim. Her work is amazing (stunning, really, in its simplicity and beauty) but the new one will be more about her family and daily life.
Just this week I forwarded her swap package content photos to many friends so they could "ooh" and "aah" over the plethora of cuteness! Loving that she repackaged the straws and the candy - so much cuter now!
I have blogged about Sally before....pretty tags & aprons, what's in YOUR bag?, and friday faves: blogs.

A series of posts starts now....of beauty found on some Norwegian blogs. These images are from "the house by the stream".
I don't know where she got the cups in the upper left corner of the photo (the orange, berry and green ones) but I'm in love. Seriously. In love. I want to marry those colors and the cups.
Then there are these bursts of color.......along with the pretty crate, the wire basket and HELLO beautiful papers.
