My friend Gina and I sometimes wish our homes looked something like creative store displays or showrooms that we've seen. My list of retail-room-inspiration with an industrial chic edge would include these locations. Photographer Paulina Arcklin took beautiful photos that captured this Amsterdam store called Good Genes and this Garage Bar in Sweden. If the designers of Good Genes and the Garage Bar would design my home, I'd be thrilled! Pretty sure neither designer does house calls to the States, but one can dream!

What a unique combination of styles.... Danish home owners use Scandinavian touches in their home in France!

First of all, these photos are from Si's blog French by Design. Totally worth checking out. (Hi, Si!!). Secondly, how pretty is this Parisian home? I have just finished looking at more than a few blog entries of homes that are filled with matchy-matchy items. I looked at my friend and declared matching items are so not my style. Then I saw these photos of Zoe's home and all was well with the world again!
That box with the red cross on it...where would one purchase it?
Those chairs! Those stunning, non-matching chairs!!!!
No upper cabinets. Nice.
