That first photo - I thought it was a doll's house with a tinier doll bed... and then realized it's really a child's bedroom! How lucky is the little girl who lives in this room?!
It is the week of Christmas. I took a vacation day yesterday and have one more on Monday - and that will be it for the year. I did have a productive morning in that I joined my former gym which I missed terribly and couldn't afford to join again until this month. This gym has a water fitness class I adore - keeps me from having to do aerobics in a studio where you sweat and sweat. Plus I'm addicted to the smell of chlorine. It just makes me smile! So to be able to attend an early morning class in the pool, relax in the hot tub then get ready for work - it feels like a luxury!
I also enjoy using the indoor track to walk miles in a week - because if I walk outside - there's too much ice and snow and I already fell once this weekend. Just have some bruises but that's why I don't walk for my health outside!
The gym also has this family pool area with a water slide - so it's fun to meet my friends there who have kids - and we have a jolly time as if we were on vacation - but we can do it on a Tuesday night or a Saturday morning. Anytime we wish. Such fun.
I do have some Christmas shopping left to do. A few Lego kits to purchase for some nephews and some creative thinking to figure out how to give cash to some other nephews. Must put on my thinking cap for that one.
