yesterday I wore a dress
under a cardigan
with a scarf.
Fooled people - they thought I was wearing a skirt.
Nope. A dress. I wear dresses year round as one of many layers.
Then I stumble on this adorable set of photos of one dress worn five ways.
Well, she's wearing the dress the same way (right side up, right side out) but accessorizing it differently each time.
Lovely.

I recently heard from Helena of Craft & Creativity , so I checked out her blog. Was so happy to peruse the photos she's posted! She often has a Craft of the Day and makes this not-so-crafty-girl want to do all the projects on Helena's blog!
Meanwhile, Helena has a pretty, new kitchen!

The weekend has been full of watching sports (baseball, football and last week's premiere of the The Amazing Race - they were sporty!), helping my mom move and celebrating a friend's birthday with a dinner out and going to see "Drive" - a Ryan Gosling movie that was well made but a bit too intense for me.
