Friday was a great night. I was immersed in a family night at Carol & Kent's home - along with their four kids and a guest - A (above right) had her best friend over for a slumber party - a first for A. It was fun being one of the kids - and romping around the house, taking crazy photos..but in the end, this photo was my favorite. I think it's because the girls looked so relaxed!
The middle part of the weekend was crazy busy at church - helping with a new software program being used during the services - and then Sunday night during the Super Bowl, I saw the movie "Over Her Dead Body" with a friend. I went to spend time with the friend but ended up really liking the movie. At one point I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. good times, indeed.
UPDATE: Just heard a story from this weekend that shows little Mimo (age 3) is like her auntie. Mimo asked if she could [pretend] call her friend... "Hello, Zoe. Want to meet me at Starbucks? OK, I'll see you there. Bye".
Later she was playing Starbucks and was the barista with a purple apron on who took coffee orders and made them to order. Gramma's order was pretty intense.... a triple, grande, non-fat, no whip, sugar free latte with foam for here but Mimo made the drink perfectly. Guess it helps when your ingredients include a set of plastic fruit and a little teacup.
